Brandon Reyes

Many of the people I work with come to therapy during important transitions in life—whether it’s moving through the end of a relationship, stepping into single parenthood, navigating a career change, or carrying trauma that continues to echo in daily life. I also work closely with younger clients, including teens and young adults, who are finding their way through the challenges of identity, independence, relationships, and the pressure of “figuring it all out.”

In addition to life transitions, I support clients living with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and substance use struggles. These experiences can feel overwhelming and isolating, but therapy offers a space to slow down, process, and begin creating new possibilities. I also work well with men who may be new to therapy or unsure how to open up, creating a space that feels approachable, collaborative, and grounded in respect. I am also deeply committed to offering affirming care for LGBTQIA+ clients, creating a space where identity and personal experience are respected and celebrated.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and flexible, drawing from a variety of evidence-based therapies—such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness practices, EMDR, and other trauma-informed tools. These modalities help clients manage difficult emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, and feel more grounded in themselves. At the heart of my work is a belief in resilience and the capacity for change: together, we focus on building strengths, uncovering new perspectives, and fostering a deeper sense of healing and connection.

In our first sessions, my goal is to create a space where you can exhale—where you feel heard, not judged, and where we can build a relationship rooted in trust. Together, we’ll explore the pressures you’re facing, clarify what matters most to you, and develop tools that help you move through life with more ease and self-acceptance.

I offer in-person sessions at TheraHeal’s Rockville office as well as virtual sessions across Maryland. Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me outdoors, experimenting in the kitchen, or out on my motorcycle chasing open skies. I look forward to walking alongside you on your path.
