Supporting teens, young adults, and families in navigating change, healing, and identity with warmth and authenticity.”

Katie is a licensed clinical social worker who is passionate about walking alongside adolescents, young adults, and families as they move through life’s transitions, challenges, and healing journeys. She understands that change — even when it’s welcomed — can bring uncertainty, grief, or anxiety. Katie’s work centers on helping clients find steadiness, strength, and self-compassion as they navigate what comes next.

Her approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity and respect. Katie believes that healing happens in connection, and she strives to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. She works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, PTSD, and the complex emotions that often come with major life transitions. Drawing from trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family systems work, Katie tailors each session to meet clients where they are — blending structure with openness and evidence-based care with authenticity and heart.

Katie brings a multicultural and holistic perspective to her work, honoring the many identities, cultures, and experiences that shape how people understand themselves and the world around them. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming and committed to creating an inclusive, nonjudgmental space where every client’s identity and lived experience are respected and valued. With training in both social work and public health, she holds a deep awareness of how social, cultural, and environmental factors impact mental health and well-being. This lens allows her to support clients in exploring both their inner experiences and the broader contexts that influence their lives.

Her professional background includes work in schools, community organizations, and public health settings, where she has supported youth and families in building resilience, connection, and confidence. Katie holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work and is continuing her master’s-level education in Public Health, deepening her understanding of mental health within communities and systems.

At the heart of Katie’s work is the belief that everyone deserves a space to feel understood and supported — a space to untangle the hard parts, rediscover hope, and grow at their own pace. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients in this process and to witness the moments of healing and change that unfold.

If you’re seeking a compassionate, affirming space to explore life’s challenges or transitions, Katie welcomes you to reach out and begin that journey together.
