Vanessa Hindle

Many people navigate life’s challenges feeling unheard, misunderstood, or alone. I work
with individuals who are seeking deeper connection—with their partners, families,
friends, and themselves—and who want support navigating life’s emotional
complexities.

I am passionate about helping individuals work through trauma, relationship challenges,
anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence. With advanced training in the Gottman
Method (Levels I & II) and Complex Trauma, I bring a thoughtful and skilled approach to
even the most complex emotional experiences.

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and person-centered, honoring your unique
experiences, strengths, and pace. I help clients explore and break free from patterns
rooted in past experiences, heal their inner child, and cultivate emotional resilience. My
goal is for you to feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported—you don’t have to
go through this alone. Together, we’ll develop personalized strategies to help you feel
more empowered, connected, and in control of your life.

My work is grounded in evidence-based practices, integrating elements of Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and
mindfulness-based approaches. I am committed to ongoing learning to ensure I provide
thoughtful, effective, and up-to-date care.

I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore, grow, and heal.
Whether you’re seeking clarity, navigating relationship challenges, or working through
past trauma, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) offering virtual and in-person
sessions in Washington, D.C., as well as virtual sessions for clients in Maryland.
Outside of my work, I enjoy reading, swimming, trying new recipes, and spending time
with my close family, friends, and my cat, Pebble.
